Lakhame and Lakhmu

Lakhame and Lakhmu
   In Babylonian myth two of the old gods who first emerged from the womb of Mommu, the dark primeval ocean. Lakhmu was a monster serpent and was enrolled by Tiamat in the fight against Marduk. In the Babylonian Creation Legends of Damascius they were the children of Tauthe and Apsu.
